Marxism-Leninism is the ideological basis for the Communist Party of Vietnam to apply and develop the theory of socialism and the path to socialism in Vietnam. The great achievements of historical significance that the Party and the people of Vietnam have achieved in the past 36 years of innovation have shown the correct and creative application of the Party; at the same time, it also contributes to complementing and creatively developing Marxism-Leninism in new conditions. With continuous improvement in practice, the theoretical thinking of the Communist Party of Vietnam has been improved, and the awareness of Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh ideology has become more correct, complete and profound for socialism. The application and development of the theory of Marxism-Leninism and the ideology of Ho Chi Minh are the fundamental cause of the great victory in the two wars of resistance and the great achievements in the 36 years of innovation and construction. and develop the country. Based on scientific arguments, logical interpretation, as well as the study of documents of Marxism-Leninism, Ho Chi Minh's ideology and documents of the Communist Party of Vietnam, this study focuses on analyzing why the Communist Party of Vietnam chose Marxism -Leninism, Marxism-Leninism in the present day and the creative application of Vietnam in the period of national innovation.
